Booster Sessions

Our Interactive Booster Sessions have been devised for students who would like to improve their confidence in Maths and English, but would prefer a setting that is relaxed and allows them to move around - ideal for those who prefer a more kinaesthetic method of learning.

These sessions have been devised to allow students who may need some extra confidence in deciphering what assessments questions are asking, and practising how to answer them appropriately with the guidance of an experienced tutor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can parents/carers accompany their children?

A: Absolutely. This is not only permitted, but encouraged. We have found that this is a perfect way of reinforcing learning, as well as clarifying any questions parents/carers may have about technique or method that may be otherwise unclear.

Q: Can students bring their homework if they have questions?

A: Yes. We have lots of students that bring any homework or questions about topics at school that we work through together.

Q: Do you have a limit on how many students you take?

A: Yes - we will not exceed the ratio of 8 students/adult in our groups. This is to allow sufficient quality time to be spent on each student and their needs.

Q: I have some other children who are interested in joining. Do you take younger/older students than eight to fourteen years old?

A: While the material in the sessions is aimed for all Key Stages, this is only to allow those with varying abilities to access the questions. However, we do have other options available if you would like further support (e.g. online tuition).
